The Board is responsible for the overall direction of Mighty River Power’s business and for ensuring that the Company has effective policies in place to manage its risks. The Board decides the level and nature of the risks that are acceptable to the Company. The Chief Executive has overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Company and management of normal business risk.
The Board is made up of nine independent, non-executive Directors. In carrying out its responsibilities the Board adheres to a comprehensive Board Charter, which can be downloaded here.
